I was adding labels to previous posts and had no idea when saving them that they were actually being republished! This is why you ended up with repeat posts. I will endeavour not to let this happen again :-( Hey, learning software the hard way!

Book production delays blogging and even eating!
I am aware that I haven't updated the blog in at least 3 days but it has been full-on trying to get book 3 put to bed. Originally I only had about 25 images to work for the full page repros, but we expanded the book so I actually ended up with FIFTY files to consider, prepare, work and rework :-( It was nearly midnight last night when I left the gallery, and this week I have put maybe 20 hours of solid work hours into actual file preparation and I'm still going. I have at least 10 hours to go I reckon, and I've only got tomorrow left - file deadline is Friday. I just hope the translation is all going to plan :-(
I was supposed to be flying yesterday and today, to get some aerials of the location, but weather has been totally against us with the cloud base well too low over the hills. We are trying again tomorrow but that's not looking promising either. Hard to believe after two weeks of glorious clear weather!!!!
Books are such fun to work on and very rewarding when complete but apart from costing a fortune to produce, market and distribute, they don't half cut into other work and client commissions. It will be nice to get book three finished so I can relax for while, NOT having to worry about deadlines. Saying that I am already itching to get on with two other book projects, one photography project and a calendar!
In the meantime, on a dull morning, the sheep were back in the street!
