In March this year I was approached by Jim Creed, the Gallery Officer for The Memorial Art Gallery at Yale College in Wrexham. The Gallery is staging an exhibition entitled "Made in Wales" which will run from September until December 2009.The exhibition focusses on Welsh culture within art, craft, design & media. It consists of contemporary works alongside historical wares, which will be used as an inspiration for creating work. It will also be used as a basis for educational workshops and activities for Yale college students, schools and the wider community.
I am delighted to say that I was selected as a contributor by the gallery committee, and have supplied two of my images, "Wind Formed" (2007) and "Lighthouse in a North Westerly" (2008) as A2 Limited Editions for the show.
