Good friends Vicki & Mike Eyre of Menai Bridge recently purchased "Warm Water" - A Limited Edition A1 - No: 1/10, at the Private View of my new exhibition "Anticipation". It's always fantastic when images sell to people in my own village, a great compliment and valuable support.
This image was shot back in the summer and I was in shorts at the time. It was a balmy evening (yes there was one!) and although the water was very fast flowing and splashing all over me, it was beautifully warm and actually very calming. At this time of year the sun had moved far to the West so was setting right over the length of the beach which was great for this shot. One of those very productive evenings and unusually, a direct sunset, not normally a feature of my portfolios.
Thanks again to Vicki & Mike for buying into my artwork. I look forward to seeing the picture hanging in their new home, with a G&T in hand I think :-))
