"Amazing day with my amazing wife! We were both transfixed by the stunning colours, reflections and tranquillity of the evening light. Although I shoot many images at the end of the day I am not keen on photographing the sun itself. I am more inspired by the colours left behind by the setting sun and in particular the opposite hues of the spectrum. In this particular scene it was the large but delicate circle of pink clouds set against the cool blues of the advancing nightfall. Even the rock in the pool appears to be part of the evening cloudscape. It was vast and enchanting."
