"For years I have resisted shooting an image of the iconic Telford's Bridge from the classic lay-by viewpoint. It has been shot and photographed by thousands if not millions of tourists over the generations so I just refused to do it, just to be bloody minded more than anything else :-)"
"It was freezing cold waiting in that lay-by and it felt very strange shooting my 'forbidden image' ! :-) Anyway I took about three frames using slightly different compositions and this one is my favourite, but I'm not saying why! Actually, whilst I was there, and I was only permitted a short time because tea was going cold at home, I decided on some future viewpoints which could prove very interesting. At the moment I have no plans to do daytime views, the moonlight created the surreality which made the difference for me, it became a Glyn Davies landscape, it fitted my style and I was happy about that. I will be checking out other full moons as well as I may include the moon itself in a shot"
