"Sheep in Welsh Tuscany" - 1 of 3 Edition goes for £1K+

UPDATE - 2 of 3 has just sold within 24 hours of No1 - ONE A1 COPY LEFT !!

"Featureless mountain-tops led down to isolated 'findings' before shrubs, trees and man-made forms started dominating the landscape once more. A mist had built in the late afternoon and was backlit by warm evening sunshine. The rows of tall trees arranged across the rolling hillsides made the landscape look more Tuscan than Welsh"

"Beyond the Fog" - 1 of 3 Edition goes for £1K

"In brief glimpses through thick fog and heavy cloud, stunning recessional hills appeared, illuminated by subtle rays of weak afternoon sunshine, beautiful. The view is from the peaks of Yr Eifl on Snowdonia's Llyn Peninsula. Clouds and fog swirl around these peaks but when the fog clears, stunning views are to be had of the surrounding countryside. This place is ethereal, spiritual and always changing. The sense of past is strong and the identity with people living on this Iron Age hill top since the dark ages is potent"

Welsh Coast - A Right Royal Spread

I was delighted recently to get a call from a well known regional magazine requesting permission to do a double page promo spread about the recent Prime Minister / Royal Wedding gift of my books. I sent the magazine a small selection of images from my first two Anglesey books and this was the image Welsh Coast decided to use for the double page spread.

Welsh Coast is a relatively new publication from Border Publishing Ltd who produce several other titles, but it's a genuinely good read, well put together and has a good remit about equal editorial and advertising. They happily agreed not to crop my image so that the original composition was shown as I intended.

If you love the sea and the Welsh coastline, this publication will give you plenty to check out and read. My feature is in Issue 9, June 2011 ISSN 2040-3992 £ 2.95
