Just to show, once again, that I do still keep my hand in one or two other photographic pies, here are a handful of shots from my latest family portrait shoot.

Loyal customers Jim and Cleo Pyrah have just done a second family portrait shoot with me, but the first was in 2008 when little Daisy was just a few months old - it was amazing to see how the kids have grown and I think it's fantastic that some parents are able to make the concerted effort to get professional shoots done on a regular basis, to record the growing family !

The two little ones, Thomas and Daisy, were absolutely brilliant together, really loving siblings and Thomas was so gentle with his little sister. They were also 100% interactive with me as the photographer - they chatted with me, laughed with me and posed for me, yes even at next to nothing years old, they were naturals in front of the camera. Their parents were very chilled too :-)

Anyway enough said but this lovely family from the North East were a delightful break from landscape printing this week, and I enjoyed every minute of the shoot.
