The world endlessly changes, sometimes quickly like the energy of waves in the ocean, the rise and fall of the tide, the shifting of the clouds in the sky, the advance of heavy rain, the evaporation by brilliant sunshine. Mountains are gradually rising, whilst others are being eroded or sinking, not that we can see any of it, but it's there. The pulses of energy are everywhere, moving through anything and everything, the energy of life itself - and then there is man! We may all be part of this phenomenal rotation of life and death, but my God we never seem to learn anything universally changing along the way, we seem as primitive and aggressive as ever.
"Endless Rotation" is dedicated to my friend, a hugely talented, friendly and very giving climber and instructor, who has suffered a witch-hunt of ignorant trolls on and off line for many years. I told him to remember that trolls all die and turn to dust, just like humans, and their bile will have meant nothing, unlike his amazing feats, which will live on for generations to come.
