There looks to be 28 new 2ftx3ft A1 Edition prints, 18 A2 Edition prints and about 10 A3 open prints and they cover many locations here in North Wales.
It's been a VERY long few weeks, from editing, selection, printing, mounting and framing. I am STILL framing three days after starting. I am also dealing with customers and trying to keep on top of show promotion amongst all the preparation. Anyone who thinks putting on a show is all easy fun has never put on an exhibition :-)

"Refresh"
On March 28th landscape photo-artist and gallery owner, Glyn Davies, opens his latest show "Refresh" to the general public.
Glyn now only stages one exhibition of new work each year at his gallery in North Wales, and over the last twelve months he has been increasingly shooting 'brooding' imagery of Snowdonia alongside more ethereal images from his home island of Anglesey.
"Looking at the millions of formulaic images perpetuated by magazines, share sites and photo workshops around the UK, I feel so many people are just 'doing landscape' - going through the process, ticking the boxes, following friends and emulating others, but very, very few seem to shoot images which convey any emotional relationship with their environment. Conversely, even without a camera, I tend to be in an almost drug induced state when I find solitude in the landscape, especially the mountains, and existential thoughts divorce me from almost everything to do with urbanity. When I do shoot images they tend to be taken during moments of elation or depression, joy or sadness, and I find my own emotional state heightens my connection with the land I stand on. I rarely shoot anything if the spirit isn't there, but can be fixed for an hour in one place when I feel the connection. The landscape is not a 'subject' for my camera, the camera is nothing more than a crude tool with which I try to create 2D images which convey a little 'something' of the 'spirit of place' which I experienced on my journey, and hopefully much more than just composition and nice tonality"
This actual exhibition which continues to show at the actual gallery in Menai Bridge on the Isle of Anglesey, comprises large, beautifully crafted Limited Edition archival prints of these images and browsers are welcome.
