Just to keep you going for a minute here are a couple of recent landscape images :-)

There is a relevant point behind these images, in that they were taken whilst I was supposed to be taking pictures of my model on the mountain top, but the light and distant hills were too stunning to miss. I had to apologise to the naked woman standing next to me, for taking so long to getting around to shooting her ! That said, when you see the model images in the book next year, I genuinely believe you will be blown away (as the model almost was) by the eventual nude shot I created - the combination of model, light, weather and backdrop could well be a cover image!

And herein lies the problem. I am doing numerous shoots for this project which is aptly given a working title of "Under Wraps", and many of my usual landscape days are spent shooting models instead. I have no intentions of showing any of these images online anyway, and certainly not before this large hard backed art book is published next year, and therefore it's hard to write blog posts about the shoots, with no pictures to show.
I have also been busy with my recent show "Refresh" which is still showing mostly in it's original form here at my Menai Bridge gallery and I lost many location days preparing for this show.
I have also started work on my personal project with the RNLI and that also occupies another half free day but at least it IS related to landscape/seascape and I will be able to blog about each mini adventure.
And finally, you will all know by now that my new landscape book, "Welsh Light" (not the nude one) is being published this August and that is taking up masses of my time, writing and preparing images. I have already sold a third of the first 100 signed and numbered copies and I will be putting all the names of these advance purchasing customers onto a dedicated page within my book, immortalised within the body of work as it were :-) If you would like to have your name included on that page, please ring me on 01248 715511 ASAP to reserve your copy. If you don't get in within the next two weeks you will have missed the deadline.
Latest reservations:-
So hopefully, from about end of June onwards, I should be back into a regular weekly or even twice weekly blog post delivery, and anything amazing in the meantime I will also try and add. Thanks for hanging in there and thanks as always for your loyal readership
best wishes

Thank you for the update, loved the pictures.
Wow you are really busy at the moment looking forward to seeing all that "develops" over the next year.
Looking forward to your next blog when you get a chance
Hi Eithin :-)
Yes things really do seem busy with projects at the moment, not much breathing space really, but at least I'm excited by everything that is happening. I'm really delighted that Welsh Light is off to a good start and it's weird selling a product so far in advance of publication. Never done that before but it's really going to help with how much I need to borrow from the financier ! :-)
Thanks for still reading Eithin and I really do promise to get back to loads more Welsh landscape walks over the next few months!
Cofion cynnes
