This image is a straight shot, I haven't done clever trickery in PhotoShop. The landscape was utterly monochromatic, save for the high pressure sodium lights of the bridge itself, giving off the red/orange glow.

| "Winter Lights" Menai Strait - © Glyn Davies 2010 - Further prints HERE |
"Freezing cold early morning on Anglesey, first lowland snow, everything pure and virginal. The lights of the Menai suspension bridge twinkle in the distance over a leaden Menai Strait. An isolated tree stands motionless, it's arms frozen with soft snow. The only sound was the occasional car trying to get over the bridge in the distance, aiming for the early shift. Half an hour later the lights went out on the bridge and the steely light of day removed the magic"
This view, though mostly without snow, is very familiar to them and will remind them of their favourite island when they see the print in their Cheshire home.
