BUYING Prints

All of my images are available as beautifully rich, pigment ink, softly textured 200 year archival rag paper prints.

The natural, honest and atmospheric style of my work is perfectly suited to this sort of cartridge paper surface, a surface more associated with fine art drawing and painting. The quality really has to be seen to be believed, and even top photographers visiting my gallery have been blown away by the sheer quality of these prints.

Each print is signed by me as the artist, dated, and edition numbered.

My editions, especially the most recent are extremely rare, in fact just three copies are made at the largest size, and five at the next size down. I do not believe in Limited Editions of 100 or more, which are more akin to mass production in my opinion. So when you buy one of my A1 (3ft x 2ft) or A2 editions you really are going to go home with something very precious, unlikely to ever be found elsewhere in your own town let alone the world :-) I am happy to discuss face to face the exact provenance with serious buyers, in the gallery itself.

You are not buying amateur work in this gallery. You are buying into the thirty year full-time provenance of a tenacious, dedicated, passionate, professionally (& academically) qualified professional artist - a published artist, both in print and on-line - but also through TV and Radio. This 'provenance', which continues to enrich as I pursue my art and career, means your edition print becomes as much an investment as an object of love, and the value will increase year on year. This simply won't be the case with open or large editions from unknown photographers dabbling in this as a hobby, no matter what they might claim otherwise.

The main e-commerce print purchase website can be found here at www.glyndavies.com

The Galleries are divided into primary geographical areas, and are supplemented with new work almost weekly.

Every single image you choose from this site will be printed here in house at my fine-art photography gallery, and rolled prints can be, and regularly are, shipped world wide in secure containers.

Please note that once an edition print is damaged, it cannot be replaced, so it is crucial to ensure your insurance covers your purchase from the moment it enters your premises. If you believe in insuring your favourite leather sofa, then you certainly need to insure these stunning and valuable prints. If you damage No.1 of 3, then it can only be replaced by the next in the edition (if the edition hasn't already sold out).

If you are interested in making a purchase, but have any further questions before doing so, please use the Contact Page to get in touch, thank you.
